Custom Controls triumph for the Third Consecutive Year!
Best High Rise Project across Europe
Our Claridge's Hotel Penthouses project recently beat off stiff competition in the Pan-European Crestron Integration Awards. The hotel penthouses in Mayfair, London benefit from a custom audio video installation all easily controlled by Crestron 6" radio touch panels - custom built and designed specifically for the hotel.
What it means to us all at Custom Controls:
We were very pleased to initially win the contract with Claridge's Hotel (and the overall owners the Maybourne group), working on such high profile rooms was a real honour. The system was designed from the outset to accommodate the fact the areas of the rooms, and some furniture, are listed. The penthouses serve as a home from home for A-List celebrities and captains of industry who visit London which meant we had just three days to upgrade each penthouse and to be sure that the eventual system would be easily usable by a wide variety of visitors - some with English as a second language.
Winning the Crestron Integration Award for Best High Rise was the icing on the cake. It is great to receive industry recognition for our projects and this means we have won for an unmatched third year in a row - having been a finalist in 2008.
