We like to install SIM2 projectors in our home cinema projects as across the range they represent good value for money and deliver outstanding performance. From the range topping 3-chip Full HD DLP Grand Cinema C3X to the slightly smaller Domino series the range from SIM2 consistently delivers more value for money than the competition.
SIM2 Grand Lumis
This is the daddy of projectors which we often specify in our most luxurious home cinema installations. The contrast and brightness delivered by this projector (35,000:1 and adjustable brightness from 1200 to 3000 Lumens) show full high definition images at their very best. A number of lens options allow us to install the projector in a variety of cinema room designs with screen sizes between 50 inches and a whopping 300 inches! The dimmable lamp allows the end client to choose between a lightly lighter room or dimming the lamp for even blacker blacks.
SIM2 Grand Cinema HT500E
The Grand Cinema projector is a projector we get to install more often - coming down a level from the best of the best represents a good saving in the budget yet still displays a superb image. With this 3-chip DLP projector contrast levels are down from it's bigger brother (to >6000:1) but the projector still shows an excellent Full HD image and will be better than most people have seen before. Again a number of lens options allow us a flexible design for the cinema room with screen sizes ranging from 50" to 300"!
SIM2 Grand Cinema MICO
The future of home cinema projectors is LED and the future is here now! The Grand Cinema MICO (MICO means sparkle in Italian) is still a full HD 1080p projector with a contrast ratio of 100,000:1 but has an estimated lamp life of 30,000 hours! This LED technology ensures lower running costs whilst providing a consistent image for years to come.
SIM2 Domino D80E
The D80E is a full HD projector designed for home cinema installation. The projector delivers a very capable contrast ratio of >4500:1 with a slightly dimmer 160W lamp. The projector will happily fill a 50" to 200" screen (huge for most home cinema's!) and the slightly dimmer lamp just relies on a darker room to deliver full contrast which isn't an issue in our usual home cinema rooms. The impact from the Domino D80E is fantastic and the projector is a very flexible and capable work horse used in a lot of our installations.
