Philips Pronto Control Systems
Perfect for Home Cinema & Multi-Room Audio Control
The Philips pronto can be a good choice of controller for smaller systems, where advanced home automation is not required. The Pronto range will happily control all the equipment in a centralised rack with two way feedback for album art and radio station RDS. One unit eliminates a table full of remote controls.

The Philips TSU9800 Touchpanel
The TSU9800 is the flagship Pronto Touchscreen - it's 6.4" VGA display provides an easy to use and clear display whilst it's large size enables it to accommodate a host of buttons and icons. The TSU9800 communicates vie ultra-reliable Wifi RF to a receiver (the RFX9600 see below) in the rack which controls the audio video equipment.
The Philips TSU9200 Remote Control
The TSU9200 can be a great option for bedrooms and occasional rooms where a large touchpanel would not be required. The familiar remote control format still communicates over the Pronto network enabling complete control of all the audio video equipment in the rack. On the above TSU9800 panel we would provide lots of feedback such as icons and album art on the actual panel with the TSU9200 we would provide most of the feedback on the TV screen in the room. The TSU9200 features handy design details like white backlit screen, laser engraved buttons and subtle docking station which charges the remote control when it is not in use.
The RFX9600 Advanced Controller
The RFX9600 is the piece of hardware which sits above all your equipment (such as Sky HD receivers, Surround Sound amplifiers and radio tuners). Pressing a button on any Philips Pronto actually sends a command to this controller which performs an action. Pressing TV could actually perform multiple commands such as Sky HD on, Amp on, select TV on amp and switch TV on. The RFX9600 has a huge amount of connections availble and control simnple IR devices right through to complex ethernet devices (allowing control of the media library on your PC).
