Crestron Audio Video Distribution

We were called in during the winter of 2006/2007 to refresh the technology on the 72' Sailing Yacht Concerto. The boat spends its summers on charter in the Mediterranean, where we met up, and its winters in the Caribbean. With 3 cabins featuring double beds and en suites this is an extremely high end yacht. A Crestron audio distribution and control system enables each cabin and two saloons to have independent audio and video with access to an Imerge multi-channel audio server and FM radio, when in range.

Every Cabin and Saloon has Independent Control

Crestron 5 " touchpanels in each cabin and the main saloon allow viewing of albums and track information stored on the music server, viewing of various CCTV cameras around the boat and control of the in-cabin TVs and DVD players. The main cabin and the main saloon both benefit from DVD based home cinemas in addition to the above music distribution. The icing on the cake, according to Mark the captain, is the integrated speakers on deck. The clients love relaxing on deck with their choice of music playing in the background.
