How Do I Identify My Crestron Touch Panel?
Why do I need the model name?
If a panel ever develops a problem it's often useful to be able to quote the specific panel to your install company. Also, replacement battery packs and power adapters can easily sourced with the correct panel name.
Look for the badge...
If you able to view the back of the panel you should find a Crestron badge with a valid model name on it. Although some panels display a model no this is actually a red herring! Most panels will have an unmarked code in fairly large text that consists of a 2-4 set of letters followed by 2-4 digit number, i.e. TPS-15 orTPMC-10 this is your touch panel name.
