Why Custom Controls for Your Alpine Chalet?

We have been delivering high-end technology installations for alpine chalets since the late 1990s — across Morzine, Méribel, Courchevel, Verbier, Zermatt and beyond. Our Alps team is based in Montriond in the Haute-Savoie and is fluent in French, giving us the local presence and language capability that most UK-based installers cannot offer. We are not occasional visitors to the Alps. We live and work here. We are certified installers for Crestron and Lutron. For alpine installations, Lutron RadioRA 3 is frequently the right choice — its fully wireless architecture is ideally suited to historic timber-frame chalets where cable access is limited and rewiring is not possible. Remote monitoring is standard on all our alpine installations, meaning we can diagnose and resolve the vast majority of issues from our UK offices without requiring a visit — an important consideration for properties that are used seasonally.

Alpine Wifi Design & Installation

For new build chalets, we work with your architect and main contractor from the design stage — specifying conduit routes, cabinet locations and access point positions before a wall is closed. This is the most cost-effective approach and delivers the most capable result: a fully wired PoE backbone with enterprise access points positioned precisely where the survey indicates they’re needed. For existing chalets where running new Ethernet cable is impractical — through solid stone walls, across historic timber floors or in listed properties where physical disruption is not permitted — we have two approaches depending on the property. Where existing coaxial or telephone cabling runs between floors, we can often repurpose it to carry a wired backbone signal without new cable runs. Where no usable cabling exists at all, a carefully designed mesh system using enterprise-grade access points — rather than the consumer mesh kits found in supermarkets — can deliver consistent, reliable coverage throughout the property.
