Smart HVAC & Climate Control Installers

Precise Temperature Control, Built Into the Home

Heating and cooling is too often the last system considered in a smart home and the first one clients complain about — a thermostat nobody can work, one sensor trying to represent a whole floor, or a schedule that heats a room an hour after someone’s already sitting in it, cold. We integrate climate control into the same system as lighting, AV and security from the outset, using genuinely capable platforms — Crestron, Lutron, Polar Bear Design and Cool Automation — chosen and combined according to what a property and its HVAC equipment actually need, not a single house style applied regardless.

Precise Control, Genuinely Flexible Layouts

A single thermostat measuring the air right next to itself is a poor proxy for a whole room, let alone a whole zone — and it’s the single biggest reason climate control in an otherwise excellent smart home can still feel imprecise. Every platform we install supports remote temperature sensors as standard, not an afterthought: Crestron’s CHV-RTS and CHV-RTHS sensors let a single thermostat read from up to four separate points in a room or zone, with an outdoor sensor available for low-temperature compensation; Lutron’s wireless and wired sensors do the same across a RadioRA 2 or HomeWorks QSX system. The result is a thermostat that can be mounted out of sight — inside an equipment cabinet, on an interior wall, wherever suits the room — while the actual temperature reading comes from wherever the room is genuinely lived in.

Crestron Climate Control

Crestron’s own thermostat range — DIN-rail models like the DIN-THSTAT for equipment-cabinet installation, wall-mounted CHV-TSTAT and CHV-THSTAT models, and wireless infiNET EX thermostats for retrofit projects — covers forced air, radiant floor and heat pump systems natively through the same Cresnet network as the rest of the home. The current Horizon Wireless Thermostat shares its design language directly with Crestron’s Horizon keypad family, so a wall of climate and lighting controls reads as one considered system rather than mismatched hardware from different eras. Multiple thermostats network together for global scheduling and adjustment from any point in the house, custom function pages put lighting, blinds or irrigation control directly on the thermostat’s own display, and if communication with the wider system is ever interrupted, each thermostat keeps controlling its own HVAC equipment independently rather than failing along with everything else.

Lutron Comfort Controls

Lutron’s Palladiom thermostat — available in polymer, glass and metal finishes to match the same Palladiom keypads used for lighting — brings Lutron’s dimming-grade attention to detail to climate control, with the Home+ app handling remote adjustment and up to seven separate daily schedules. Lutron’s HVAC controllers connect to conventional forced-air, fan coil and radiant systems using standard thermostat wiring, communicating back to the wider RadioRA 2 or HomeWorks QSX system over Lutron’s Clear Connect RF network, with wireless or wired remote sensors covering the same flexible-placement need as the Crestron range. Shading is part of the same conversation: Lutron blinds lowering automatically against direct summer sun measurably reduce the cooling load a system has to work against in the first place, rather than treating shading and climate as two unrelated systems that happen to share a building.

Polar Bear Design — Thermostats That Match Your Lighting Keypads

Polar Bear Design is a UK manufacturer building genuinely luxury thermostats specifically for the high-end residential, super-yacht and hotel markets — exactly the environments most of our own projects sit in. The Zentium Pro range uses a distinctive rotary Digital Crown interface, glowing orange for heat or blue for cooling, with a matching flame or snowflake icon on its display; the Ursium collection offers a more contemporary European aesthetic for clients who want something different again. Both integrate directly with Crestron Horizon and Lutron Homeworks QS hardware, and Polar Bear produce wall plates and metal cabinets specifically designed to sit alongside major-brand lighting keypads — meaning a single wall plate can carry genuinely matched climate and lighting controls rather than two different manufacturers’ hardware side by side. A dedicated Crestron Home driver automatically discovers and configures Polar Bear thermostats on installation, groups multiple zones under a single control tile, and switches between complete seasonal schedules — summer and winter profiles, say — in one action rather than reprogramming room by room.

Cool Automation — Universal Control for Any Air Conditioning System

Where a property already has, or a client wants, a specific VRF, multi-split or ducted air conditioning system from a manufacturer that doesn’t talk natively to a smart home platform, Cool Automation’s CoolMasterNet and CoolLinkNet bridges solve the problem directly. These universal HVAC gateways integrate with a wide range of manufacturers’ inverter, split and VRF equipment and connect straight into Crestron or Lutron over Ethernet, with each indoor unit or zone then appearing in the smart home system exactly as if it were native hardware — set point, mode and fan speed all controlled from the same keypads, touchpanels and schedules as everything else. It’s the option we reach for whenever a client’s chosen air conditioning brand isn’t one a smart home platform speaks to directly, without ever compromising on unified, single-app control of the whole property.

Whole-Home Macros — Home, Away and Everything Between

Climate control means little in isolation; its real value shows up in how it responds to a single macro alongside everything else in the house. An Away scene doesn’t just lock the doors and arm the alarm — it sets every zone back to an energy-saving setback temperature simultaneously. A Home scene, triggered by a phone’s GPS location or a keypad press at the front door, brings every zone back to its comfort setting at the same moment the lights and AV system wake up. A Goodnight scene lowers bedroom temperatures for sleep while leaving a nursery or a guest room exactly where it was. None of this requires the household to think about heating and cooling as a separate system to manage — it simply happens as a consequence of the scene already being used for everything else.

Pre-Emptive Heating & Cooling That Follows Your Schedule

The most effective climate schedule is the one that finishes its work before anyone notices there was a problem to solve — a bedroom brought up to temperature half an hour before an alarm goes off, not at the moment it does; a home cinema pre-cooled ahead of an evening screening rather than catching up once eight people and a projector have already raised the room’s temperature. Crestron and Lutron both support this kind of anticipatory scheduling natively, and Polar Bear’s profile-based scheduling takes it further still — switching an entire property between complete seasonal programmes in a single action rather than adjusting each zone’s schedule individually as the seasons change. The schedule works around the household’s actual routine, rather than the household adjusting a thermostat to catch up with a routine the system doesn’t know about.

Crestron KNX Air Conditioning Integration, Dubai Estate

Case Study: Whole-Estate Climate Control, Dubai

Our award-winning two-villa Dubai estate is as good a demonstration of climate control at scale as it is of audio and lighting. A third-party KNX air conditioning system is integrated directly into the same Crestron environment running everything else on the property, giving precise room-by-room temperature control from any touchpanel or iPad rather than a separate, disconnected KNX interface. A dedicated house manager screen shows live temperatures across the entire estate at a glance and allows rapid zone reconfiguration ahead of guests arriving — exactly the kind of pre-emptive, schedule-driven control that makes climate genuinely part of the smart home rather than a system running alongside it.

The result isn’t just convenience: intelligent Crestron management of the KNX system brings the estate’s energy consumption to roughly half what an equivalent unmanaged property would use — a meaningful saving anywhere, and a particularly significant one in Dubai, where air conditioning load is continuous and substantial for most of the year.
