Whole House HD Audio Video via Crestron Digital Media

This stunning modern town house in Mayfair benefits from one of the best Crestron installations in the country - and that is official due to it winning the pan-european 2010 Crestron Integration Awards. The Crestron Digital Media system allows any audio video source - analogue or digital - to be enjoyed in any room by distributing all sources over inexpensive CAt5e cable. This means Sky HD can be enjoyed anywhere in the home, with any combination of the eight TV's watching at the same time. The same approach applies to the clients other sources - Arab Sat, Apple TV, Whole home CCTV and Kaleidescape DVD server. An audio matirx allows audio from any of the sources to be played through ceiling speakers in each room, including DAB radio.

This was the first Crestron Digital Media Installation in the UK.

High End Home Automation allows Easy Control of the Home

A mixture of wired (Crestron TPS-6L) and wireless (TPS-6X) touchpanels allow easy control of the home - from lights in the living room to heating throughout the house. Viewing Audio Video sources could not be easier - pressing a hard button on the side of the touchpanel labelled TV brings on the TV in the room and routes the Sky HD receiver from the central hub to the TV - easy. This system is so easy to use the client turned down training on the system and it is regularly used by the client's non-english speaking staff. As this client has an international presence we also embedded weather feeds and local times for each of his home locations on the touchpanel home page.

High End AXIS IP CCTV Installation

As the home is only in use when the client and his family visit the UK we are installing a state of the art AXIS IP based CCTV system. This system benefits from extremely high resolution cameras which the client can view from anywhere in the world via his laptop. Viewing in the home is via the above multiplexed page as default, however should the client wish to view one specific camera a simple tap on the touchpanel brings the one camera full screen. A huge storage server will ensure any incidents are available for further analysis.

Hitachi Air conditioning Control

A mixture of TPS-6X and TPS-6L touchpanel's will allow full control of the various zones of air conditioning allowing easy control from anywhere in the home. The client also has access to a house control web page to allow air conditioning to be switched on whilst being transferred from the airport.

iPhone Control of the entire home from anywhere in the World!

We also wrote and installed an iPhone control application allowing the client to control audio video sources, lighting and heating from anywhere in the world. Using the clients iPhone to enable or disable the underfloor heating in his home enables him to prepare the house for his arrival with the minimum of hassle.

Bowers & Wilkins Home Cinema Installation with Kaleidescape

This beautiful home also features a bespoke home cinema. The home cinema benefits from access to the same sources as the rest of the home (Kaleidescape DVD server, Sky HD etc) yet has full 7.1 surround sound care of the new Bowers & wilkins CM range of speakers. The ceiling speakers also provide surround effects for a truly involving home cinema experience. A 50" Panasonic Plasma ensures a breathtaking visual experience and the whole room is enhanced by a Lutron lighting control system. This is a great space for the entire family to relax and enjoy a cinematic experience together.

ArabSat & SkyHD Distributed throughout the Home

In addition to ArabSat the client also benefits from Sky HD - enjoying HD Audio and Video throughout the property in addtion to recordings of favourite programs. Any TV of the clients eight TV's can access any of the sources simultaneously or independently.
