It’s a bold claim but we strongly feel this will be one of the best home cinema rooms / salle de cinema privee in France – certainly in the Megeve area. This huge 8 bedroom, 600m2 chalet has everything a client could need – ski in ski out, indoor pool and spa complex, heliport and a huge garage. It nwill also boast one of the finest home cinema rooms in France. A huge 4m curved projector screen and top of the range Sony 4k projector combine to deliver flawless visuals whilst the wool lined walls hide an array of speakers and acoustic treatments – guaranteed to deliver a sound track which is unrivalled, even by commercial cinemas.
The Finest Finishes & The Best Technology
The hand stretched fabric on the walls is fitted to a unique track system which allows us to create a shallow void around the room. In this case the void houses a stunning 11.4.2 Dolby Atmos surround system and huge amounts of carefully placed acoustic treatments. Broken down the audio system comprises of 5 front channel speakers hidden behind the acoustically transparent projector screen (the two “extra” speakers being wide speakers) and then a surround speaker level with each row of seating and a further pair on the back wall. In between the front five speakers are 4 x subwoofers each with 3 x 10″ long throw subwoofers! Two ceiling speakers above the seating provide height channels for the all important 3D audio effects provided by Dolby Atmos. The room has been extensively acoustically modelled and, when taking in to account the precise acoustic treatments, the room will exceed reference levels.
The custom seating is designed and built to our own specification and all seats are fully electric – providing the ultimate comfort for up to 8 guests. The Trinnov surround sound system calibrates the room to provide several listener positions – ensuring no matter where in the room you are sat you will always have the best possible movie experience.
We hope you agree that this room packs a technological punch whilst complementing the interior design of the chalet – for such a stunning cinema room there is a surprisingly small amount of technology on show!
