A High End Design for a Home Theater Room Dubai
This design for a home theater room Dubai encompasses everything we do well – fantastic design, amazing audio and stunning visuals. The design of this theater room transforms an unused basement room – measuring approximately 7m x 6m with a 3m head height – in to a stunning 8 person home theater. The client brief was to deliver something “aesthetically different” whilst delivering the very best home theater experience. The center piece of the room is undoubtedly the 5m+ curved projector screen which hides a huge amount of cinema speakers – 5 x Acoustic Arrays and 4 x subwoofers – all made by Artcoustic Loudspeakers. A further 6 x array speakers on the walls handle surround sound with 4 more arrays in the ceiling for height channels.
The stunning top of the range Sony projector displays a whole host of sources from Satellite TV for sporting events, Apple TV for streaming and Kaleidescape for better than Blu-Ray downloads! This is a seriously well equipped home theater!
Fabric Lined Walls and Acoustic Treatments
The cutting edge design, and curved walls, are only possible due to the stunning work of our fabric walling contractors. Stud walls allow us to incorporate acoustic treatments and loudspeakers in to any position in the room – ensuring audio perfection – with the whole lot covered by specialist fabrics. This approach ensures a very clean aesthetic – with no hardware on show – whilst ensuring zero compromise!
Home Theater Seating, Lighting & Room Fit Out
The colour palette from the walls continues in to the home theater seating, carpets and ceiling with a bulk head hiding high level atmos speakers, ducting for air-conditioning and also a cove light. The ceiling itself benefits from a star effect ceiling which can be easily dimmed by the clients as part of their lighting control system. Advanced lighting scenes allow the clients to have lighting at a preset level when a film is paused or stopped with lights dimming to their requirements once a film starts.
