Crestron Home Automation. The central intelligence of every Dubai smart home we install. Crestron manages the full scope of a Dubai villa’s systems — air conditioning via KNX or BACnet, Lutron lighting and shading, AV distribution, security and access control, pool and garden systems, gate automation and intercom — from a single interface on a Crestron touchpanel, iPad or smartphone. Remote access is standard: every function available in the villa is equally available from anywhere in the world.

Lutron Lighting & Shading. Lutron Homeworks QSX for new build Dubai villas. Scene-based lighting control across every interior and exterior zone, integrated with Sivoia motorised shading for solar gain management and privacy. For existing villas where rewiring is impractical, Lutron RadioRA 3 is fully wireless and delivers the same professional quality without disruption to completed interiors.

Climate Control Integration. Crestron integrates precisely with all major AC platforms used in the UAE — Daikin, Mitsubishi, Carrier, York — via KNX or BACnet. Room-by-room temperature management, occupancy-based setback and geofenced arrival scenes that pre-cool the villa before the family arrives.

Home Cinema. From intimate family rooms to the IMAX Enhanced cinema that won the Crestron Integration Award for Best International Project. Outdoor Entertainment Integration. Dubai’s outdoor spaces are primary entertainment zones for much of the year. We integrate outdoor audio (Origin Acoustics weatherproof speakers and in-ground subwoofers), outdoor display, terrace and garden lighting, pool system control and automated awnings within the same Crestron interface as the villa interior.

Enterprise WiFi & Networking. Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti UniFi networks with wired PoE backbones throughout the villa and grounds, VLAN segmentation separating smart home, personal, security and guest traffic, and remote monitoring from our UK operations.

Security & Access Control. IP CCTV covering the villa and grounds, video intercom distributed to every Crestron touchpanel, smart access control with individual credentials for family members, staff and contractors, and alarm integration within the Crestron system.

The Pre-Build Methodology

Every Custom Controls smart home system for Dubai is fully assembled, programmed and tested at our UK workshop before a single component is shipped to the UAE. Racks arrive in Dubai in operating condition. Our engineers install into a finished, tested system — not a collection of unprogrammed boxes. We do not subcontract Dubai installations to local companies. Our own engineers design, programme, install and commission every system.

Smart Home Support & Maintenance Dubai

Every Custom Controls smart home in Dubai is enrolled in remote monitoring from handover. We receive automatic alerts when any element of the system degrades and resolve the majority remotely without a site visit. We schedule quarterly engineer visits to Dubai for preventative maintenance, software updates and any hardware work requiring on-site presence. Annual smart home maintenance contracts cover priority remote support, scheduled visits, software updates and system health checks. We also offer system takeover services for Dubai villas with existing smart home systems installed by other companies.
