Home Cinema Installations — Selected Projects

Cinema Rooms Across London, Cheshire and Beyond

This page brings together 45 of our home cinema projects, from dedicated screening rooms with acoustically transparent screens to basement, loft and garage conversions and living-room cinemas designed to disappear when they are not in use. The projects are grouped by the office that services them: London and the Home Counties, Cheshire and the North, the French Alps and Dubai, with international projects at the end.

Every project is a different space with a different brief, and each card links to the full project page with the design, equipment and calibration detail. Common to all of them is the way we work: the room is designed acoustically first, and the screen, projection, loudspeakers, processing, seating and control are specified together as one system rather than as separate products.

If you are planning a cinema in a house, a chalet or a villa, browsing by room type is the quickest way to find a project close to what you have in mind. The services behind every room on this page are linked below. For design inspiration organised by room type, see our guide to 40 home cinema room ideas.

London and the Home Counties

These projects are serviced from our London office, which covers London, Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and the Cotswolds. They include dedicated cinema rooms with acoustically transparent screens, basement and loft conversions, and living-room cinemas where almost nothing is visible when the system is off. Each card shows the real location and room type, and each links through to the full project page with the equipment and design detail.

Cheshire and the North

These projects are serviced from our Cheshire office, which covers Cheshire, Derby, Manchester, the Midlands, Scotland and the Lake District. The range runs from garage conversions and an underground cinema near Derby to a glass-walled garden studio, a home entertainment complex and a media room in Manchester’s Beetham Tower. Every card links to the project page for the full specification.

French Alps

Our Alps office in Montriond, Haute-Savoie covers chalet cinemas across the Portes du Soleil and beyond. These two projects show a purpose-designed cinema in a large chalet in Mégève and a basement cinema in Châtel. Our Alps cinema page covers the specific considerations of alpine construction and the cinema spaces that suit a chalet. Read more on our Alps home cinema page.

Dubai

We have designed and installed cinemas in villas across Dubai, from converted basements to dedicated rooms and an IMAX Enhanced cinema. The projects below sit in estates and developments including Emirates Hills, Al Barari and District One. Each links through to the project page with the full design and equipment detail.

Elsewhere in the World

Our international cinema projects also include Abuja in Nigeria, Ghana, Portugal and Rome. Distance does not change the approach: the room is designed acoustically first, then the equipment is specified around it. The cards below link to each project page.
